ST ANDREWS KITCHEN
Situated on the outskirts of St Andrews, an impressive Art Deco house is being beautifully updated for modern family life with a light filled extension. The brief required a kitchen that anchors the space, that has a tasteful wow factor and that channels its Art Deco origins through details that suggest but don’t imitate the era.
The resulting kitchen uses fine materials, a mix of highly figured veneer on the tall units and marble on the island, worktop and seating design. The plush leather on the bench sits above even more storage. Brass handles give glamour and there are as many wide sets of drawers as we could fit in.
The oak display shelf along the top of the wall cupboards, tall cupboard surround and island face tie the scheme together.
